We feel very lucky to be nestled between the beautiful Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills; the views and landscape are amazing. There are so many things to see and do around the county of Gloucestershire and nearby Worcestershire. Here are just a few to tempt you.

If you want to try and outwit some of the brightest minds that Cheltenham has, try EscpateEntertainment escape rooms at Knightsbridge Business Centre (just up the road and possible to walk to). Or, why not go for a great day out at Great Western Railways where you can have a wonderful time travelling by steam engine whilst taking in the beautiful local scenery. Please see their website for special events which they regularly hold www.gwr.co.uk.
Not far away is the Forest of Dean where you can go for stunning walks or get on your bike along specific trail paths. A great time can be had on the sculpture trail based at Beechwood. If you fancy looking round some wondrous architecture Tewkesbury Abbey (https://www.tewkesburyabbey.org.uk/) and Gloucester Cathedral – where Harry Potter was filmed! (https://www.gloucestercathedral.org.uk/) – are on our doorstep.
For those of you who love a challenge then why not give the three peaks a go on the Malverns. The 360 degree views of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire are incredible.
About 20 minutes drive away is Gloucester Ski Centre www.gloucesterskicentre.co.uk Even if you can’t ski we can highly recommend a go at tubing down the mini slope!
If you fancy a swim outdoors, get to Sandford Lido which is the perfect example of Art Deco architecture. They have two pools, one large one with a slide and a children’s pool, plus a lovely little café. https://www.sandfordparkslido.org.uk/.
If you fancy an evening out why not try the farms local ‘The Gloucester Old Spot’. They serve delicious food and fantastic local ales, ciders and perry. The pub is now in the Good Pub Guide 2013 and is 2* recommended. Just a little further out is Broadway, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh, Lower Slaughter and Upper Slaughter, and Cirencester; all of which are all beautiful examples of Cotswold towns.
If you plan to shop when you arrive there is a Sainsburys just four miles away (head towards Cheltenham on the A4019), and a Tescos just a little further along the same road.
